LMAO

Btw, good game today Sully. Wish my offense would've played better than it did just couldn't run it and you knew we would pass.

Kind of why I wanted a team , kept hearing how hard it was and now I know

Worse part of this is trying to get players , man some of the stuff people have pm'd me that "they would need to play for us" , like we were lepers or something.....lmao

I'd rather run cpu's out there than have people with a me me attitude.

Thanks for posting these Sully. As always you do a great job and are unbiased as far as I can tell.

Would you mind sharing your power ranking formula? Does it accomodate strength of schedule etc and is it easily transferrable to a spread sheet? I go a guy on my team who does them for our league and he might be interested in a different formula than was used last season.

Thanks!

I wanted to get a loan of his formula for use in a different league but I got no response, I guess the magician never reveals his secrets

I can share the basic composition of it, as I posted it in a thread last season. The stats are divided into four categories:

1] Record (25)
2] Offense (30)
3] Defense (30)
4] Special Teams (15)

Each one has its own aggregate weight, listed above, which is dispersed amongst the statistics in each category. Add the numbers up, and voila! Strength of schedule is NOT considered in the rankings, and I believe that was also mentioned in a thread last season, but I'd have to find it. If I was to share it, it'd be easily transferable since I do use Excel to help me out.

That would be my fault. I did see the PM, but it was at one of those times where my PM box was just flooded, and I never got back to it. I could let you know some of the stats that are used, but I will keep the magic formula to myself
