Hello, and welcome to the first installment of runia24's USA Pro League Power Rankings, featuring the well-named R24 formula, which takes in account wins, streak, points, and strength of schedule. I know I'm not really involved with the USA Pro League, but this is something that I'd really like to do. It provides an unbiased view of the top league in GLB. Anyway, let's get right on down to it.

FYI, since only one game has been played, the stength of schedule part of formula affected the results very little, but it will be a more important part as the season progresses.

BTW, doesn't work too well when bad teams play each other

I totally disagree. The Chicago Ponies won their first game thus they = the best team ever in the history of the GLB! Man you swung and missed on that juice ball bad pal!

justafish: I am using just this season's, otherwise the rankings would look VERY different.

HoggLife: One win does not a successful season make, though I do expect the Mustangs to perform well as they usually do.

Also, things will even out once more games are played and the good and bad teams are more easily identified, so don't take these early season rankings TOO seriously.

Like I said, things will even out once more games are played and the good and bad teams are more easily identified, so don't take these early season rankings TOO seriously. It's kind of like how the BCS isn't released until halfway through the college football season, even though the BCS is a POS.
