Well MEM is back for another shot at going back to the WPL. After losing a very close game to the Shockers; they're hungry to show they're the best in the West. They are bringing in a quality squad and are going to have to worry about who their first round match up is and when they have to play against in the early weeks of the season with their damaged Chemistry. A dropped game here and there could hurt in their rankings, but they'll make up for it in the postseason. I see MEM making their way back to the WPL this next season.

The Hedgehogs had some up and down times in the WPL, but ended up coming back home; well not quite home, but after a nice swap they're back in the West. WiSe and his monster of a recruiting squad has put together another strong team and are ready to roll. Depending on when they get to face off with MEM will determine their spot in the rankings, but I see them with a solid home playoff game. They're going to have to pour it on to take down MEM, but I think that will be one of the best post season match ups when they meet for the Conference Finals. Unfortunately for my buddy WiSe, I just don't see them pulling off the win for the West.
FIGHTING FOR A PLAYOFF BERTH_____________________________________________________________________

The Nighthawks have always been a strong team, but just find themselves just short of making it big in the playoffs. They struggle against the top teams and leave themselves having to battle those same teams in the first round of the playoffs. I see this occurring once again for the Nighthawks as they battle to reach the playoffs yet again, but just fall short in round 1.

Can you beat Off Constantly? Yes, and quite a few teams will this season. The new comers did quite well in their first season of AAA ball and making it to the League Championship game shows they have the talent to win. They'll be featuring one of my favorite players in GLB, "You Can't Touch This" Bartlett on their squad. A very dangerous back that will have to take the load for the team to succeed this season, but I still see them battling it out for the last playoff berth.

The Beasts pulled out some good wins to put them into the playoffs for their first season in the Pros. They've shown they can win on the big stage and now it's all up to them to see if they can do it once again. The West is very strong, but the Beasts are very hungry. I look to see them finish off strong once again and surprise a number of teams along the way, but I feel they'll still have to work on getting out of the first round of the playoffs.

The Longhorns have been slipping down the rankings for quite sometime now and now are sitting with a roster of only 20 players. Even if they can find enough players in time for the season to start; they're Chemistry is going to be so bad they won't be able to make up for it. They've started collecting some youth, but they'll have to rebuild down in AAA and fight their way back up.

On paper the Skulls are supposed to own the league, but then again that's all you see when you have so many players hovering around the 500 day mark. With only 32 players they can barely field a full defense and at their age they'll need a rest! There's just no shot for the Skulls in making a run in the Pros this season. They'll need to regroup next season in AAA and try once again.

All The King's Men have finally made their destination and set high upon the top of the East ready for WPL glory. With the curse on their side they're almost a lock for a gold trophy this season. A few teams will come close to them and timing in their schedule will affect some rankings, but by post season I see ATKM representing the East. Their chemistry should be repaired, but I know they'd like to see a late match up with the Hounds to lock up the #1 seed. Hopefully the GLB Gods or someone can ConVince the higher ups to have a ATKM vs Hounds week 16 showdown.

The Hounds are back from the WPL and are ready to destroy everyone in their path as they return to their rightful league. They even shipped off their farm team to the West so they wouldn't have to embarrass them on the dot ball field. Their team had very little change and looks primed to return to the WPL, but for some reason I just feel ATKM will get the best of them.

I know the Baby Kittens were one of the top teams in the East last season; how in the world could they fall to barely making the playoffs. Well their early exit from the playoffs from the departing Outlaws shows some vulnerability and with a major roster make over; they're not in the driver's seat anymore. They did get a lot younger and will be a force in due time, but this season they'll need to worry about making it back to post season glory.

The Fury just missed out on the playoffs last season and even though they're still in the recruiting hunt; I feel strongly about them making the playoffs this season. Just like before it's going to be a huge battle for them to make it and I'm afraid all the work will end up with an early exit from the playoffs, but they are improving. They've added some youth to their roster so they're getting ready for the future.

Paris is new to the league and sports 2 back to back trophies from AAA and AA, but this is the Pros. Paris will have to fight for every win they can get and I still think they're going to have a hard time getting into the playoffs in their first trip up here. They have shown that they can beat Off Constantly, but even they may miss out on post season glory.

I'm sure there's quite a few of us that remember when the Czech hit the Pros and how much they were going to destroy everyone. Unfortunately the level difference and time commitments were too much and the era of the Czech is over. They'll be heading back down to AAA to see if they can win their way into the Pros.

American Freedom worked hard last season to stay in the Pros and were able to fight off demotion, but I just don't think they'll be able to get the roster in place for another run. It looks like their Pro run is over and they'll be swept away to AAA to compete once again. With the brutal season they just came off of, this one looks to be even worse.
