200-300+ pancakes a season. Where should my boost points go?

Speed...dude is a serious liability vs. the pass rush. I'd imagine it's a hurry or sack 80% of the time vs. good teams when your team passes. Give more to the team and don't worry about your stats so much...lol at 1 in protector, that dude is not an LOT.

Honestly...2/10. selfish build that hurts your teams.

I was wondering if perhaps this build works. Doesn't come close to 80%, but he gave up 3 in a 28-27 loss (the other OT gave up 1):0

Funny, because he doesn't even move before the DE gets the sack

Probably helps him out ALOT that he plays in casual and the DE isn't flared out for the pass rush like DC's do in regular leagues and there are no overload blitzes that he has to take care of.

I can't believe I'm this bored at work..but I just watched that game. Even with the protect tree going he plays ROT

Looks like he was in for like 20 passing plays gave up 3-4 hurries and 3 sacks. TBH he had alot of help

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1100190&pbp_id=19731296

and alot of close misses

Dunno, I wouldn't want him defending my QB on passes..

Eye-opening. Thanks guys. .

What about rushing plays? Because I am judging how well he does by his pancake stats. . .

I knew agility was important for side movement but didn't know speed was that big for a lineman.

Wow, that one where he did not move was funny! I have a LOT 2 levels lower than yours, with 100 STR and he had 235 reg season Pancakes (AA), so it is not all about Pancakes. It is about protecting the QB...I will take NO Pancakes if I give up no sacks! My guy for the record has comparable blocking as yours, more in Agility, and 68 in speed!! Plus more in Conf/Stam and agility, and 11 in protect.

So, needs some work mate.

He'd be even worse at lead blocking. He moves about as fast as a snail. He wouldn't stay in front of even the slowest HB. Spend some time watching him play. That will tell you all you need to know. Stats are virtually meaningless in this game.

Has no one ever told you to at least train your speed?

These were the type of builds that caused the big DE nerf in what season 6 or 7?

Unfortunately, Pancakes really don't measure how GOOD your O-Lineman is, it just measures how BAD the guy you are blocking against is. Right now there is no way to take into account sacks allowed or missed blocks, both of which would be better indicators of how well an O-Lineman plays.

That would be an awesome stat to have, how many sacks or hurries they OT has given up.

Putting all my points into speed till a soft cap it.

This guy has about 1 or 2 seasons left, might as well put the points there while I can.

You've got roughly 20 days of offseason before he plays a game with meaning. You can get it trained to the mid teens at least before spending SP
