Just found a +3 Agility / 3% Fake AEQ...
I have good agility for my level (84 and can be 88 before the season starts; 100 Speed) but I have no Fake SAs loaded up. Is this piece worth it?

no. you cant fake unless you have a fake SA, so adding a % to 0 is still 0.

Until season 10 you could flat out juke-ray an entire defense with fake chance EQ and only the 1's provided from custom EQ.

but having EQ in it will count as a point in the SA, and the +%fake would be adding to a number >0, which means that it would help... how much? not as much as if you had more than 1 point in the SA... but it does help. in contrast, if you have no points in any fake SAs, +5% of 0% chance to fake is still 0.

I do have a 1 in Head Fake / Spin / Juke from my custom... and I did have a Fake Piece on 2 seasons ago, and I did Fake a Dot once every 3 games or so. I have also increase my agility by 15 since then too.

Guess I'll start building up Head Fake 1st and see what happens

Thats a pretty good piece. Who the hell cares if your SA's aren't loaded just yet? They shouldn't be considering the level you're at. Its good to buy, build up, and when the time comes to add to SA's you have it upgraded, ready to go.

agreed. it is a good piece (could be better... a +5%, would be preferable) , but the title asked if you can fake without having any points in fake SAs. the answer to that would be no.

since he does have a CEQ in fake SAs, the +% piece will work, and i would probably buy it. but dont expect much from it. and even when you do get SAs up, it wont be as effective as the jonas talked about (juke rays of death), since that got nerfed, and it wont be as effective as last season since the nerfed +% AEQ so that you cant stack it as effectively.

Oh, well I never stacked my Fake chance EQ so it's not an issue for me.

I was referring to the season 10 nerf to elusive backs, which included a massive fake chance EQ nerf that was not specifically mentioned. It was broken, so I wasn't really upset.

IT's still effective, you just actually need decent fake SA's to see the impact. The days of juke raying 5 guys with fake chance EQ, quick feet, and 1 in HF/Juke are long gone.
