Is it worth it to pick an arch type for a kicker?

does that reduce the +1 to kicking/Confidence every level up...

none of the custom SA are useful.....

thanks

If you're older than 80 days, don't pick an archetype.

The archetypes add a major attribute, so the major ALGs are split between three attributes instead of the two before.

Agreed. Yet I see it over and over. Kickers/Punters who don't have to are taking ATs. I mean i guess if you're that in love with your vis or str that you think it's more important than pun/kick, then it makes sense.

I think Vision is important for a Kicker, so I did take an archetype [Technician]. I think the gains there can help in distance as much as anything.

I'm unconvinced that vision past 80 on a kicker does anything WRT accuracy or distance. OTOH I know kicking affects both distance and accuracy. That's why I recommend no K/P who doesn't need to take an AT.
