I've created a CB, with the hard hitting archetype, and I want to focus him on blitzing and tackling in the run game. What minimum speed and agility do I need for this to work, because I want some focus on power and tackling as well.

If you want to blitz? 130 speed.

Yeah, that's what I've been hearing. However, with a major focus on speed and agility, will the 'hard hitting' archetype be able to work well?

Go with combo.

If Combo is an archetype, I've already created the free player with the hard hitting one. If it's not an archetype, please explain.

It's an archetype. What size/height/bonus SA did you choose, and where did you put your creation points?

Just my opinion, but the Hard Hitting CBs would be to hobbled in pass defense to be worth it. Having Agility be a minor lvl increases makes it bad, but also the bonus to Closing Speed is a waste.
If I were to build a CB strong in run support, I think I'd do a Zone archetype. Major lvl increases are all good, and the bonus to Super Vision should really help.
Interested to see what others think about that.

I think hard hitting CBs would work just fine if the entire secondary and all the LBs were also hard hitters.
Then every hit to an offensive player would induce morale loss and knocking the ball loose or forcing fumbles on every player becomes that much easier.
But if you just have one hard hitting CB I don't see that much potential.

If you focus on the KL roll more than INTs or PDs, they will likely be the archetype most able to cover any type of WR.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1994484 Here he is, open build.
My main focus is blitzing. Hopefully, I can still work that with what I've done thus far.

Yeah, I was gonna soft cap that early, then turn to speed and agility.
Reminder, this build is experimental. VERY experimental.

If you want to blitz you absolutely need to push speed to the 77 cap before you do anything else.

Unless you plan on being a 90 strength 110+ agility DE.
