'Better' is just a matter of game desires. Personally, I think Zone is more fun because of the plays that get made in actual NFL games are really exciting. They cover a wider area and more guys for most of the game. Man guys shut down 1 guy the whole game and only get opportunities to shine a few times a game. Both are very useful teamwise, but the stat bonuses and penalties and whatnot are reasonable enough to use your own game interests to make the decision. I think when teams are recruiting, early on Zone guys will be more in demand, but Man guys will still be looked for. This decision is easier for CBs because there are more CBs rosterwise than the safeties so a team could choose to have a mix of both.
