Never made a secondary player before but I assume zone would be better for a FS?

I base it all on the major//minor attributes which affect the level gains. Theres not much diffference between man and zone. I went zone on my SS because it favors superior vision, but it penalizes wrap up tackle. That might be better for your FS than for my SS, but I like ints and everything i do is trying to get more of them. Combo might be good if you want strength as a major attribute without having to be a hard hitter, but it has vision as a minor so I wouldn't do that.
