Any idea's on the bonus SA's for FS/SS?

If you don't have the ZS va, i'd say Zone Specialist for both FS and SS.

Is ZS really useful if it only functions before the ball is spotted?

I was thinking about one of the blitzing SAs for my young FS, but I was wondering - do DCs find FS blitzes effective? I don't recall seeing many in my games (where I wasn't paying much attention to the FS).

I went with headhunter on my hardhitting SS, sticky hands with my coverage FS (all choices were rather meh)

Headhunter seems pretty kick ass if you've got a really fast dot.

I know thats the idea behind the SA but if you read the wording:

"The Headhunter ability gives a bonus to causing fumbles, big hits, and monster hits when this player is traveling at or near full speed."

This suggests that dots with lower speed will have this activate more because it will be easier for them to reach their top speed. Agility will be important with this SA i think. Definitely what im going to use for my Hardhitting SS. seems perfect.

All it says to me is find at least one first step AEQ, hopefully two with some good attributes... speed, agility, tackling.

Took headhunter on my SS since he is often used for run support.

how about First Step for a SS and Zone for a FS?

Not sure what to do for my hard hitting FS... Obviously I am going to with Hard Hitter for my Archetype, but not sure what to use for my Custom Special ability... Three to choose from would be Head Hunter, Monster Hit, or maybe Fire Up.. I have 2 AEQ pieces into Monster Hit SA totaling 6, and I have 1 AEQ Piece into Big Hit SA, with it up to 7... So it looks like the best one to go with would be Head Hunter.. The only thing is its says "traveling at or near full speed".. What is everyones thoughts...

im pretty sure i'll take the Zone Focus as the SA, but im thinking about going with the Combo arch. Since this is all so new, im curious where the nerfs will come from in the future seasons. it may not max out one function of an SS, but he could be versatile. I like the zone arch, but there is no strength in the algs which is kind of a bummer to me.

I picked ZOne for my SS and then SHutdown coverage as the bonus SA since I play in a casual league, The SHutdown coverage will hopefully make up for being a zone spec. Hopefully it pans out

My hard hitting SS took the obvious choice of head hunter. I already planned on raising monster hit and big hit high, so it only makes sense I take the additional bonus to them as well as the bonus to FFUM it provides.

The problem will be getting to full speed consistently as my SS has 110 speed and only 70 agility. Some first step via AEQ will correct this though, and most of the time his tackles are against runners so he gets to full speed most of the time anyway. Since tackling WRs, receiving TEs and HBs and getting the KL is way easier I'm not worried that my SS won't have the bonus from head hunter a lot of the time due to being in coverage and matching his opponent's speed rather than accelerating fully.
