Welcome to the New World Classic, where teams from all around the Americas come to compete for the Columbus Cup!
The requirements are relatively simple.
- Team must be in Canada, U.S., or South America regions.
WL: NO World League teams, even if you do hail from one of the three regions.
Pro: Any Pro team.
AAA: 10+ wins or League Champs
AA: 14+ wins or League Champs
The tournament starts out with four different divisions. In these four divisions, there are 2 groups of 3 teams. In each group, the 3 teams play in a round robin format, with the team with the best record moving on.

Division 4:

Tiebreakers: If all the teams in a Group finish 1-1, the team with the highest points scored will be the winner. If it is still tied, then the team with the lowest points allowed will move on. If it is still tied, it will be decided by coin flip (by me).
Because of the three team per group format, two teams will play one game, with the other team having a bye.

A nice, shiny ColumbusCupGold.gif will be presented to the winner, with a nice, slightly less shiny ColumbusCupSilver.gif for the runner up.
Remember, this is for sign-ups for the Season 15 New World Classic. If your interested, just post your team link, and I'll sign you up. I'll be making a PF shortly so I can keep track of all the happenings easier. Once you sign up, I'll send you an invitation. I'll make the schedules after all of the teams have signed up, and I'll post it in the PF. I'll make another thread in the Friendlies to give regular updates of how the tournament is going, but all of the important stuff is going to go on in the PF. Let the team link posting begin!
