The plan was to build them all to level 7, drop out of D leagues and then make identical builds, 2 with automatic and 2 without, and finally join a D league team for season 14. The automatic builds had 7 Automatic until game 8 at which time I pushed auto to 10. Otherwise, the builds are identical. All four builds are open.

What to take away?
1. At low levels Automatic may help increase your FG accuracy from longer distances (as it says)
2. Automatic has no effect on XP %
3. Automatic may have little if any effect on FGs your kicker would otherwise usually make.
4. Morale at least the difference between 85 and 100 morale seems to have no effect on performance.


By the way, I'd like to continue this test if anyone can give them jobs next season, let me know.

Good idea but not nearly enough data yet to come to any meaningful conclusion

Also, low level kicker stats and performance are notoriously terrible so I wouldn't take anything seriously until they're level 40+

Perhaps WRT FGs there's not enough data. However, there is plenty of XP data to be quite certain Auto does not help XPs. Hell, these guys XP% is about the same as my level 63 kicker with 1 in Auto.


Sadly, they'll never be level 40+. Their builds are ruined as I did not spend SP or train. I'll be surprised if anyone's willing to team them up.

Well there's plenty of XP data to show that it doesn't matter what the build is, regardless of Automatic or not, it's right around 97% for anyone.

I don't think it's a very good experiment if you aren't building the players "correctly" and just having one with Automatic and one without, but I understand that it's tough to do that

It's just as good as building properly. If automatic has an effect, it should be seen regardless of the build.

I mean obviously, it doesn't tell you if auto will help much when you're level 60, but at least we KNOW it's doing SOMETHING.

So would you suggest it as a possible 3rd AEQ?
