Texan's Week 13 Picks

Current Record: 165-27

Hey ho, let's go, it's Punk week, perfect for lucky week 13.

Naga

Bacolod (6-6) v Saigon (11-1)
Bacolod is in that pack of 4 teams fighting for 2 playoff spots (I am assuming Thai has no worries). Saigon is their "Problem Child" this week because they will likely just have to figure out how to work around the loss unless they can somehow figure out how to play "Lady Killer" to the Whores. Saigon 42, Bacolod 17.

NBA (11-1) v SCSK (4-8)
SCSK is just playing for pride at this point but there is no shame is losing this one to a great Jam team that has been able to "Rise Above". Maybe SCSK could call "Jodie Foster's Army" to help them? NBA 56, SCSK 6.

SLS (10-2) v Tibet (9-3)
Tibet is shining in the toughest part of their schedule and now has another test, so sound the "Code Blue". You know SLS thinks a loss here would be "No Fun" but this will be a dogfight imo. Tibet 30, SLS 27.

Monks (10-2) v PDP (6-6)
PDP is another team fighting for the playoffs, which is a lower position than we're used to seeing. They're now in an "Urban Struggle" with a Monks team on a bit of a slide but with not much to worry about until playoff time. The main question is will I be "Institutionalized" if we have another tough loss? Monks 15, PDP 12.

Thai (7-5) v Mekong (4-8)
Thai put the pedal to the metal and is in "Complete Control" now while Mekong is pretty much eliminated from playoff contention and can focus on rebuilding. SI was quoted as saying "I Wanna Be Sedated". Thai 42, Mekong 13.

Bali (7-5) v CMM (1-11)
Bali is starting to feel pretty good about their first possible playoff birth as now they are looking for a "Holiday in Cambodia". CMM is just looking forward to the "Weekend", but expect them to fight here anyway. Bali 35, CMM 27.

HKH (3-9) v Rumrunners (0-12)
Long long season for the Rumrunners and they're thinking "Fuck Armageddon, this is Hell", but they'll do better next season in AAA. Look for HKH to pull out the "Rocket Reducer". HKH 42, Rumrunners 17.

The Blue (6-6) v PPW (0-12)
This should help Blue's case for the playoffs as they start throwing some "Chinese Rocks" as PPW is relegated to the "Waiting Room" for AAA. The Blue 120, PPW 3.

garuda

Lampang (5-7) v Bangalore (12-0)
5 straight losses for Lampang and it doesn't get any nicer this week as they are under the gun of Bangalore's "Sonic Reducer", which will likely leave Lampang "Unsatisfied". Bangalore 52, Lampang 6.

Krungthep (11-1) v Singapore (5-7)
Legend has it that fool was "Too Drunk to Fuck" after a rough loss to Bangalore and now he'll be turning "Psycho Killer" on a Canes team that was just climbing back into the playoff picture. Krungthep 56, Singapore 3.

Tet (11-1) v LSP (11-1)
Should be the most entertaining game of the week imo as both teams looks to "Kick Out The Jams". It should be quite the battle between two well coached, well stocked teams in what amounts to a fight for the #3 seed in the playoffs. "This Ain't No Picnic" for either squad and I think it comes down to the last 5 minutes of what is really a pickem game. Tet 31, LSP 28.

Buffalo (8-5) v Sydney (5-7)
Another run through the gauntlet for Sydney but they better "Live Fast or Die Young". Buffalo is a certain playoff team but are looking ahead to what they can do when they get there and you can "Color Me Impressed" with what they have done the past few seasons. Buffalo 42, Sydney 17.

Sweatshop (7-5) v Danang (4-8)
The playoffs are looking good in "Viet Nam". Not so much in Danang, but it's their first season here and that is typical, so best be "Sailin On". Sweatshop 30, Danang 20.

Lucid (7-5) v Ottawa (5-7)
Lucid is rolling having won 4 straight but so is Ottawa in winning 4 of the last 5 and they are right in the playoff picture suddenly as they look to "Search and Destroy" their way in further. The "California Uber Allies" from Oakland, err, Lucid better not overlook this game. Lucid 24, Ottawa 21.

BKK (4-8) v MMJ (1-11)
BKK is not quite dead yet and they won't get that way this week "In My Eyes" as they cut MMJ with a "Straight Edge". BKK 52, MMJ 10.

Dharma (CPU) v RSR (1-11)
Finally some good news for RSR as they "Kill The Poor" in Dharma. Put that CPU team on the first "Police Truck" right out of here. RSR 255, Dharma 0.

Thanks Texan! Still waiting on those Conference Final results! (Who needs to wait when we've got you!)

Looking forward to this one! Tet (11-1) v LSP (11-1) Should tell us about everything that we need to know. Good luck to both! I expect a bloodbath.

Who knows but early returns seem to indicate Saigon v Jam and Garudas v Bangalore. Both great potential rematches.
