The Ultimate school for new coordinators

Never been an OC/DC before but are interested in learning how? A new private forum has just been established for the following.

A project has been started that will involve at least 2 peewee teams that will be fully staffed by veteran GM's who are some of the best minds that GLB has to offer. The instructors will guide you through the process of what it takes to be a great GM.

The process won't be easy, but if you are serious about learning, and have the time to dedicate to learning from the best. Fill out the application below and either post it, or if you'd like, PM it to me. The applications will be presented to the instructors who will choose from them. This will be a selective process and not everyone will be accepted. If at any point your instructor doesn't think you are putting forth the necessary effort, you will be removed from the program and replaced with the next approved application on the list. This will not be a cakewalk, but I can assure you that you will know what you are doing when you are done and should be able to hand-pick what jobs you'd like to take upon your graduation for the school or could be easily placed with championship caliber teams.

Don't just try to figure it out as you go, have someone there along side you for questions and helping you along the way.

If ST or scouting in more of what you're interested in, that can be arranged as well.

1) Name
2) GLB history (how long have you been playing and have you done anything other than player creation?)
3) What are you interested in learning?
4) How much time do you spend on GLB each day?
5) Are you willing to put forth enough effort to learn from some of the best minds GLB has to offer?
6) Do you have any experience in the position you're looking to learn? (does not mean real life experience)
7) What does this equal as a percentage, 1521/2500 ?
8) Do you have any references or anyone we can contact who will recommend you for this program?

I would be interested in an invite to this forum. I would like to learn in some aspects as well as have useful information to aid in regards to things I am more knowledgeable on.

1) Name: Bob "glassmatica" Ceres
2) GLB history: agent since the end of season 1. GM roles include Owner, Co-Owner, CFO (by practice not mere title)
3) What are you interested in learning? I would like to learn how to better utilize the AIs, O and D
4) How much time do you spend on GLB each day? Probably a few hours each day.
5) Are you willing to put forth enough effort to learn from some of the best minds GLB has to offer? Absolutely :]
6) Do you have any experience in the position you're looking to learn? (does not mean real life experience). Minimal. As an owner/co-owner I have seen various AIs and made minimal adjustments, but I have not designed any AIs from scratch.
7) What does this equal as a percentage, 1567/2500 ? 63%
8) Do you have any references or anyone we can contact who will recommend you for this program? Some agents I have worked with include: RazzyG, OH-IO, hoosierguy, trickytree22, throg420 DTD , NEXT, Adidas, skinsthashiznital, coastiemike

4) How much time do u spend: from 3PM to 12 AM EST..... I need a life atleast i take small breaks....
5) Are you willing to put forth enough effort to learn from some of the best minds GLB has to offer? YES!!!!!!, I really want to learn the nuts and bolts of the offense, and how to run a elite Offense
6) Do you have any experience in the position you're looking to learn? I have DC'd a successful D, and run 2 offenses, both havn't been meeting expectations( 1 is cap 42, the other is pee wee) I think the cap 42 is starting to get better, but my pee wee A.I needs some work. I never received real training in offense. I did learn D from otterpop though.

2) I've been playing for, let's see... one year. I created Jeron in January of 2009, and he was created the moment I joined the game.
3) I want to learn both offensive AND defensive coordinating. I want to be a head coach, in other words. It seems ambitious, but I want to learn both sides of the ball. It helps that I'm also learning actual football coaching (I owne the Football Coaching Bible and a couple more books from the AFCA).
4) I'd say only a couple of hours right now. Two to three at best, but I very 'intensely' spend my time by getting my shit done.
5) Yes, I am.
6) Not entirely. I have a DC and OC I've hired and I set general ground rules for what I want to see out of my team, and then I watch how they do them. So I have some second-hand experience. I've also tried designing my own plays in the defensive play editor.
7) 62.7%
8) stevenj54, who created the program, referred me to it.

Thanks everyone for the apps, keep them coming if you're interested, we'll be reviewing them in the forum and possibly handing out small "feeler" assignments to narrow the results.
