I'd like to build one next season with the goal of eventually having 100/100 speed/agility. Not a huge big play threat but I'm hoping for a solid run after the catch kind of guy.

Was wondering if anyone has that and if so how has it worked to this point? Anyone else have any pointers or things they've seen work well? Thanks!

never made one but you'd probably need high carrying/strength as well, like 70+ each, and with some break tackle% equipment and the YAC va

I agree with high carrying (to the 68 cap) but for AEQ, something more like fake chance % and then another with either the route running, quick cut, or maybe one of the fake SA's. That way the high agility isnt a waste.

You'd be better off with high strength than carrying. Strength will make a CB lose position for a PD (making it more difficult to get one on you) and that's the main enemy of a slow receiver. The agility will also assist you in catching, and you should definitely have high catching with that build, especially if you ever want to get targeted running as the third option (probably fourth if your team designates RB a lot).
I agree that you could go with fakes, but honestly spin would probably be more successful.
I have a similar WR to the one you're talking about, though still in development.

For a slot receiver, choose possession archetype next season, get your RR and SH SAs up since that's where you get the archetype bonuses (ideally get an AE piece for each and take them both up to 6 natural), and put 15 in Slot Machine VA for more of a boost on those SAs.

Aside from that it's a matter of preference re attributes and other SAs/VAs, but those are the key to get the biggest bonuses for the position.

I would say that a slot WR should be able to make catches in traffic instead of breaking away. You wouldn't need Crazy speed but needs crazy Agility. So I would say that a Good Slot guy would need 85 - 90 Agility / 90 to 95 Speed / Decent Strength / 60 Catch / 48 Carry / 40 Jumping & Confid by time hes in his mid to late 30s.

Sounds kind of fun, I have an WR building up right now and may try to do this

You should probably aim for being good later than level 30...

I have one with 101 speed 94 agility. Finally have him on a passing team, the last 2 games 180 yrds 3 TDs. Still working on strength only first capped, but with VA slippery & break tackle AE he's bouncing off the DBs. I think he's a lot more fun to watch than my 130 speed WR.

Based on what I've seen from various players builds in action, what y'all have said, and what I had originally planned I think I'll start it up.

I still want 100/100 speed/agility with roughly 60 catching, and 68 strength/carrying by lvl 48. It'll be a slow build project for sure, but if I can get those numbers by that level it can be productive imo.
