What if all seven Canadian WL teams don't make the playoffs and are sent back to CPL, how are they going to accomodate so many CPL teams?

WL promotions, removal of CPU teams - after that I'd assume additional demotions/reduced promotions from AAA. I'm not sure it's been officially answered, and likely they'll handle it when the time comes - it would be very rare to have that many teams demote, but not have any dropping down to start over, and have the Pro League not have the space for them.

I believe the decision was "extra demotions" from the bottom of the pro league. They don't want to take away from AAA winner advancements, but 2nd place teams would also kiss their chances goodbye.

First, that isn't going to happen.
I'd say that in the Alpha Conference you're looking at Haliblack and Queen City making the playoffs with Surrey & Marblehead up in the air.
In the Zeta, I can't see MoD missing the playoffs and Providence has looked good so far. Kansas City did enough to make it last year, I think it's too early to count them out.
But, to indulge your hypothetical...they'd only need to make room for one team. In the East, the winner will go up to World and the bottom two will demote...that's three vacancies. Same in the West, one up...two down, three more vacancies. If another team from either division calls it quits before season's end...there's your seventh spot. I guess, then, that the AAA Conference champions would be stuck in AAA for another season?
Either that, or look to the World League FAQ for answers: http://goallineblitz.com/wl_faq.html

We will remove CPU teams first, to allow room for them. If there are not enough CPU teams, additional teams will be demoted from the Pro league to AAA, and on down the line from AAA to AA, and/or AA to Minor Leagues. There are usually enough CPU teams along the way down to make up for the extra demotions, and once we reach those CPUs, extra demotions will stop.

Yeah I'm assuming the script runs..
1) remove all CPU
2) process all drop-down requests
3) process automatic promotions/relegations
Then working the way down the chain, if there are open slots in Pro, move teams from AAA up.
Then open slots in AAA, move teams from AA up
Etc...
When the system hits Pro (right away), it would see 17 in a conference, and instead of moving a 2nd place AAA up, move the worst remaining team in Pro down.

I have a feeling AAA winners are automatic, and move up no matter what.

anybody who was in the bottom 4 of their conference here really doesn't have much of a leg to stand on if they get demoted. only demoting 2 teams a season is pretty weak iyam.

Agreed. Increasing the demotions / league would greatly improve the talent in AAA/Pro.

Add QCBC as up in the air too.....we only 3 games in, plenty of season to go.
