Dimmy Finster does not guarantee accuracy at all. Just that they
are a little better than his original rankings.
1. Queensland. The best rushing game, a great passing game, 7 points given up, and the endorsement of SquareEnix. No doubt the #1 team right now
2. Saskatoon. Dominant win over a good Texas team in week 1, also owns a big win over Cobden in preseason. I discount their losses in scrims, I know these guys a little and they are the type to dump worthless scrims to avoid tipping their hand. They've done a great job of recruiting, and appear to be better than the championship team of last season.
3. Winnipeg. At 2-1? They did lose to a strong team in Hudson Bay in week 1. But they beat a good Windsor Walrus team in week 3 by a dominant score. My knowledge of this team says that they are not always gameplanning hard, so my guess is they made some adjustments after week 1. They do have a great roster.
4. KC. 3-0, big wins over Paradise, which is decent, I think. Lost a close game to Alpine, which is good. Lost some big games against USA Pro, showing they're not quite elite.
5. Moose Jaw 3-0, but not dominant anywhere. Not a strong SOS so far.
6. Thunder Bay Wolverines. Stronger than I had thought, they do have a nice dominating win over Tadoussac.
7. Windsor Walruses. 0-3, but I still think this is a good team.
8. Windsor Black Knights. Also stronger than I thought, they're still active and kicking,
unlike many teams that seem to have folded up.
9. St John's Salty Dogs. I think they thought they'd be 3-13, but a lot of teams loook to be rebuilding also. A cut below playoff, but a cut above some of the others. Signature win over North Delta.
10 North Delta - They're self deprecating, but they did beat Moncton. Unfortunately tournament play has not shown them to be a strong team.
11. MOncton Clearly not the powerhouse they once were, but does have a win over a Nebraska. A mix of guys in decline and attempting to rebuild on the fly.
12 Nebraska. I may have them too low. They do have a win over SquareEnix in the preseason.
13. Tadoussac. Just not their year.
14. RCKY - not an impressive performance yet.
15. Manitoba, CPU
16. Thunderbay, CPU
