Hey everyone,
Theres a thread like this in A5 that looks at the games being played every week and follows the league. I think if I do something similar it will help me stay up to speed on some of the great teams in this league. So without further delay:
This is SportsCenter.
We'll start out with the west since its the conference I'm most familiar with.
Honolulu Warriors v Los Angeles Sweetness
Not much to say here. The Warriors are back stronger than ever and they open the season hosting the Sweetness. The sweetness hasnt added much since last season, look for this to be an absolute blowout.
49-0 Warriors
Hollywood Stars v BC Lions
The Stars will be gunning for the Wiz all season and anyone in their way will probably be mowed down. The Lions have the players and the depth, but they wont slow down the Stars.
35-3 Stars
Oakland Terror v El Paso Bandits
The Terror look much improved since last season. They've picked up some talent but they have a long way to go to prove themselves in a tough western conference. I think in the end, the Bandits' strong receiving corp will win the day.
16-10 Bandits
Houston Panthers v Omaha Shockers
The Shockers open up against a relegated team from A5. They look to continue their strong play but they're gonna need more than just that to survive in the west. One look at the panthers and you can see why they were the bottom of the higher conference. Those CPU players will not hold up.
24-7 Shockers
Cary Carpetbaggers v Riverside Renegades
Both Cary and Riverside are out to prove themselves and they're both much improved. This looks like it will come down to who has the better gameplan. Although I'm a little concerned about Cary's lower leveled second string, they pulled some upsets last season.
20-16 Cary
Houston Outlaws v Scranton Tunas
The Tunas had a lot of rebuilding to do from the disastrous start of Season 2. They're much improved but still lack some depth. From the looks of things, the Outlaws have been making moves and improving as well. That level 22 FS is one scary dude. The fact that many of Scranton's players havent hit that lvl 16 threshold will hurt them in this game.
27-14 Outlaws
South Texas Thunder v Elite Sea Team
Looks like the one man army has opened his season boosting his players to level 16. This will certainly give him the edge in this contest. The Sea team will have to rely on that excellent passing offense to try to pull off the win. Lets see if last year's star receiver, Djie Up! can continue making waves.
24-21 Thunder
TEAM Chuck Norris v Kansas City Wiz
Well the Wiz made a dramatic playoffs run to close out their season last year. Look for them to continue their outstanding performance. Chuck Norris has a long way to go before they'll be able to compete with the Wiz.
35-0 Wiz
