Houston Toros vs Compton Vikings

Both teams had an unexpected early exit from the playoffs. Both will be top contenders for the Western Conference. I didn't see much improvement in the offseason by the the Toros, so the question is will Compton's off-season moves help them to beat the Toros?

I am going with 24-17 Compton

Honolulu Bulls vs. Philly Fighters

Two very Pass heavy teams. Philly has honolulu's QB's number. But Honolulu made some key additions in the off-season to hopefully improve that. Philly however looks stronger than ever and looks to take revenge from last seasons 2 losses. Both teams will surely being fighting for the top spot in the Western Conference.

I am biased so no prediction from me.

Well i was wrong on my one prediction. Toros won 22-16. Nice game guys.

Good game Philly. You guys have a strong team. Hope to not have to see you guys again the rest of the year.

Games of the Day for Game # 2.

Toros vs. All Stars is going to be a slugfest.

Fighters and Musclefrogs should be a good one also.

I'm curious to see how the new and improved Farkistan does against Compton.

All-Stars and the Toros will be a tough battle...it always is.

Don't worry about the Bulls, they are easy to beat. I will tell you how.

First you just need to shut down their passing attack.

Second, hold Tyler Durden under 20 yards.

Now that you have shut down their offense, you need to get a good running game going. Make sure your RB gets at least 150 yards.

You will need to pass the ball to your WR's and TE's. Throw a few passes to guys in the endzone as well.

Also, don't turn the ball over. And make sure that your defense gets lots of interceptions and fumble recoveries.

Personally I would throw in a KR or a PR for a TD, but that's just me.

Sorry Bulls, I hate to expose you like this on the forums but the Toro's want first place to themselves.

it hasnt been confirmed yet, but the rumor is that it's better to score more points than the other team. i know ... it sounds crazy to me too, but we're going to try to test that theory out.

hehe that made my day. Letting our secret out like that. Shame on you.

I would call you our rivals in the west, but I just like you guys too much. You are a great team with great players and fantastic coaching. Your a class act from the kicker to the owner.

It's more than just a rumor Scoot, it's the truth. Blitzburg, make sure you score more points than Honolulu. I forgot to mention that in my original post.

I would recommend checking the scoreboard from time to time during the game. If you see that the Bulls have more point than your team, then throw a couple of touchdown passes.

This will be very important if you want to win your game.

I thought I was a wise ass before I met that guy.

Also, the defensive coordinator and the backup LOLB get drunk way too often and end up making stupid comments that they erase the next day.

And yes, we are rivals in the West. No matter how much we get along with each other, we are trying to break each others kneecaps on Sundays. It has been quoted on our super secret Houston Toro's only board as a "friendly rivalry". I think that best describes it. Good luck Bull's but come playoff time I am rooting for an early exit from Honolulu.

That's right I posted 2 times in a row. Big whoop. Wanna fight about it?

take that back! i'm relatively almost near kinda sober and not deleting threads tomorrow yet.

i like having our friendly rivalry, except for that fletch guy. seriously ... who needs to have a wide receiver with 150 speed and a dan montana manning as quarterback?
