Would a change direction AEG be good for a balanced SS, maybe tilted towards run a little?

IMO CD is one of the most important SAs for SSs to have...next to CS & SV. But the fact that it falls in the 1st slot of the the Cov Tree makes the value of the AEQ less desirable to me (unless it has +3 Spd/Agi/Vis w/it). I would rather hold out for a CS or SV piece which are higher up the tree...thus saving more SPs in the long-run. Not too difficult to build the CD up using normal SPs.

The closer to the line your zones are the more valuable change direction potentially is. That said, it's not a SA that's required to play well.
If you're going far into the coverage tree AEQ for the first skill isn't that great, but if you're only getting CD it could be useful. Saved SP is saved SP.

Probably the second most important SA for a coverage SS, and thus always a nice piece. Problem is, it's the first SA on the tree, so while you should keep the piece you'll want to consider % gear, SV, or CS as well.

I had 9 in CD before lvl 40.....working for me.

I already have SV so I think I'll just put SP in CD and find something on the hard hitter tree. Thanks.

Yes AND I aquired 6 FIRST STEP thru adv eq. My SS was ranked #1 in conf for D...just dropped to 2nd but I lead my team with 5 int's(AND COUNTING) and 5th most tackles, with one sack. My dot is growing up into an increadable COVER MAN SS.

I will self promote some and say that I can't wait to see what me SS will look like as he closes in on level 50.

It was my first dot and he has ALWAYS been on teams that did not give up TD's often if at all(and when they did he was resting.)
Monterey? That dude missing all those tackles with the peewee dots? Yea I can't wait either.

Close, but the one that is closest to level 50. And I don't care what they are doing in the minors as long as they produce when they make it to the WL.
