I have customized about 80 defensive plays. I have a ton of triggers. Took me about 2 solid days to install my defensive AI. Is this too much?? I seen a pee wee team that only gave up 6 points total all season including playoffs. I seen their Ai and it was bare. They hardly had anything in there. So, am I wasting my time with all the inputs I put in??

No, not necessarily.
A good intricate AI can make your team over-perform, but for some a small managble AI that changes from game to game is better.
And in the end it still doesnt work without the proper dots

If you are a peewee team, yes, that is too much, formation only AI works just fine at that level, even in gold.
My cap 38 defenses have about 20-25 inputs with maybe 15-20 different plays, I imagine as I get closer to AAA and Pro I might want to add some quarter and score specific inputs, but atm it's just down/distance/formation with 1-3 outputs each.

I would estimate that 75% of the DCs out there would improve their defense by simply turning off their D-AI and going with basic settings.

I would estimate that 95% of the dc's out there would improve their defense by only watching replays in the bugs forum, and do the things that the "Bug mods" say are not exploits.
