I think that if you plan you build as a tackle breaker from day one you can utilize strength. double or triple cap STR off that bat, combine with 2 pieces of % tackle break AEQ, maxed YAC attack, etc. But you really have to devote the build to breaking tackles since it is much harder to do at the TE position than any other offensive position, since most of the time your covered by LBs or SS that can tackle, and more often than not than not you have 2 or 3 guys on you a split second after you make the catch. Add that to the fact that your sacrificing speed and agility which hampers your ability to get open, you probably won't break as much tackles as you'd like.

Not saying it isn't a viable build if done right though, i wager a tackle breaker would have more big yardage plays than a spd/agl guy, but less receptions and consistency. What also sucks is lower shoulder is weak VA imo.

But if your not break tackle route, I think strength is a good deal less important than catching and also less important than carrying.

Of course, we will have to see how the new changes to zone coverage to the passing game play out, since WL teams rely on zone coverage heavily. The passing game last season was the weakest it has been in a long time, if not ever. The update notes lead me to believe the passing game will open up a bit which is a good thing.

It works: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=937056

Although it does work well, don't expect him to be a superstar but he will consistently get you first downs.

I takes a long time to create a power receiving TE, probably longer than almost any other position. If you are patient and pick up a couple nice break tackle pieces of AEQ, you can build a solid dot. Would take at least 6 seasons to round out the build, if not 8 or 9.

I'm not sure if there's really a power receiving TE but my TE here (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=929499) looks solid enough to be a candidate to do that.
