Ya, I obviously don't feel like getting much work done this morning.

With the huge turnover this season up here I was kind of curious to know who each team thinks of as their top rivals? If you have to include lower level teams that is ok, but preferably rivals up here in SEA Pro.

For PDP:

1. Krungthep Garudas. This is because we have had many of the same agents and GMs over the seasons we have played each other just about every season, with Krungthep holding a sizable edge over us. This includes a very close loss in the season 6 conference title game. fool runs a tight ship and taut crunches the numbers.

2. PDM. We have a long running battle with PDM, almost always with close games. We have only ever lost to them once (last season), but we know a lot of those could have gone either way. I am a huge fan of Boomy, Morbid, mastawoo, DD and company.

3. Mekong. We have met them each of the past 2 seasons in the SEAPL playoffs, going 1-1. We have also gone 1-1 in the regular season, making this our shortest rivalry. The fact that we seem to keep meeting in the playoffs vaults them up here, added to the fact that they are the heel of Naga.

Historic favorites:

P-Funk (some historic battles including a playoff OT thriller that we were fortunate to win)
Tongduchon (amo's old team and one that we played every season until recently)
Pa Dong (another long running rivalry. We have only beaten them a couple of times which makes it more irritating)
Tibet (back in AAA they were always dangerous. We have always beaten them but that could certainly change now)
Beijing Black Dragon (we have gone back and forth with these guys--sorry to see them rebuild)

I'd love to hear from everyone else on their favorites...

Krungthep is definitely the one team that I consider CMM's rival

I think we've played once a year in every season since like Season 5 or 6, and typically have very similar offensive/defensive mindsets. We came up through the minors together, although we were two years behind them getting to Pro.

It's not a bad rivalry thing, either. Lots of respect for those guys and always enjoy playing against them

Tet has a pretty good rivalry going with what was Oakland Naughty Ottsel (now Lucid D.R.E.A.M.) and Vietnamese Sweatshop.....well Oakland isn't really a rivalry, they have kicked our asses like 5 times straight but alot of close games nonetheless!

Right now I think Buffalo's biggest rivals are probably Krungthep and BKK.

Unfortunately, our biggest rival the Singapore Flames just gutted in the WL.

Not to worry: looks like we've got a new one brewing with the Shadow Lake Snakeheads, and we've got a score to settle with the Tibet Psychonauts (our only other loss last season). Also, facing the S'mores, WNBA Jam and Babeilicious Beer should be a lot of fun.

I honestly don't know how our Hustlers will stack up in S14, but I know we're gonna have a lot of fun no matter what...

Buffalo has no rivals in SEA Pro. To be our rival, one would have to have a chance at beating us.

Looks like we both won what we thought was the more important game, then. Everyone's a winner!

Man, back in AAA#1 when I was with Tongduchon our rivals were PDP, P-Funk, Mongolian Horde, Pa-Dong and a few others that escape me that beat us in the playoffs only to go to the Pro's and leave us behind... We finally made it up but had a hard time then the owner fell off the face of the earth and that's when I went to PDP...
