New Jersey looks much better on paper, especially with 10 Yard's weak offense. This is just on paper though, and we won't know until we see them play some games. Right now, I'd have to go with:
Blaze wins 36-7
Saint Paul Vulcans
vs
Crescent City Saints
Looks very even on paper, but I know the Saints from experience and I would have to give the small edge to them. Look out for Saint Paul this season though, they look to have a very solid team.
Saints win 24-21
Awesomeville Bearphins
vs
New Jersey Falcoons
Wow, big improvement for the Falcoons. They look like they are actually trying to win some games this year. However, with all those changes come terrible chemistry which is going to play a role in this game. Both teams look great, but I would have to say the Bearphins will take it.
Bearphins win 37-10
Ottawa Outbreak
vs
Ole Miss Rebels
The Bulldogs (They will always be the Bulldogs to me!) Do look a lot better compared to last season. But as it seems their young defense won't be enough to capture this one. On the other hand, with the Bulldogs bad defense comes a bad Outbreak offense, so in that case, this will depend on how the Bulldog's offense fair against the Outbreak defense. As of now, I am gonna have to give this one to the Bulldogs.
Bulldogs win 17-7
Tampa Bay Krakens
vs
Bonita Beef Supreme
Two teams who weren't quite so good last season. Both look much improved and Tampa Bay should do well this season. However their improved team won't be enough to beat Bonita's much improved offense.
Bonita wins 31-21
Sheffield Sabers
vs
Philadelphia Pigeons
Yuck! Terrible defense from the Sabers. Philadelphia should decimate them as long as they can stop the not much better offense the Sheffield brings to the table.
Pigeons win 45-14
FC Hezbollah
vs
Buffalo Chips
Impressive chemistry from both these teams. Hezbollah come in with the advantage of 100 Chemistry. Even with that, I don't think it will be enough against the impressive tactics that will undoubtedly be set by Buffalo. However, Buffalo's low rated QB may be their downfall in this one. Hezbollah has a good looking secondary going against a below average QB.
FC wins 21-7

Well, Tecmo is still Tecmo. No matter how good NO has been in the past, beating such greats as Awesomeville, they are still going against the Juggernaut. Don't get me wrong, NO has a good looking team and could do damage on the rest of us, but this one won't even be close.
Tecmo wins 45-6
