Warrior General Games

The rankings below are based off of nothing but roster evaluation, past records (seasonal, playoffs, and scrimmages), team chemistry, and personal knowledge of the team. I didn’t use a greasemonkey script or spreadsheet or anything fancy; just my opinion. These rankings are up for debate amongst yourselves on the forums, but if you want to move up in the rankings; you’ll have to prove it on the dotball field!

Someone might want to tell the Skulls about this thing called the Decline...That's a lot of 479 day old dots

481 days old to 520 days old (player's 13th season): 2% (net of -15%) OUCH VAs don't help enough when the majority of your team is going to be over 500 days old when the playoffs hit

If by 'ship you mean the day 36 scrim game for playoff first round losers...You sir might be correct

Like I said.....pre-season rankings are worthless. Just stop making them. They mean nothing.

You have to account much more than the current roster, chemistry, and records. If you don't know anything about the team, then you can't really say much with accuracy.


Accounting for declining players and strategy would be something, but strategy is almost impossible to judge in the pre-season. So many teams have changed the majority of their roster and usually the strategy changes a little with that.


Wait til the regular season or right before it. That would make much more sense.

Well generally there are only 2-3 "newcomers" that do really well and 2 teams that were on the bubble in pro the previous season. The rest is just the teams that have already been there before.

cincy, mem, otr, alpine, kkar, masterminds, grand haven i'm all expecting to definitely make the playoffs.

newcomers like all the kings men, the juggernauts, mentone beach, canton busts all look like solid newcomers

teams like battalion, mighthawks, atlanta pp, bortsville, austin, ccia, fury, all look solid from last season like they could make the playoffs.

There probably will only be 2-3 combined of newcomers/solid last season teams to challenge the established guys though but 2-3 will make the leap

They mean enough to make you guarantee a poll ranking and have the longest response in the thread.

I agree. You will likely be lower. You took a major roster hit in the offseason and it doesn't look like you've filled it back out. On top of that, about a quarter of your team is already in or will start decline on Day 1 and a good number of players won't improve unless they boost. I'm not saying you will definitely struggle, but the chances are high that you will.

Normally I feel that jp's ratings are pretty much spot on. I think we'll see significant differences between these and the rankings that come out at the midpoint, and maybe even quarter point of the season,
