Dictated but not read by: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1281711

Due to some pretty crappy management by Skanker IRL and ITS I Tim Leary have decided to move to a team where he can win some championships. When Kayoh first approached me in season 7 about joining a Kai farm team I have to admit I was intrigued. I was already very familiar with the lolKai's shameless self promotion and figured that if nothing else the forums would be pretty decent. Over my seasons with the team I quickly found that wasn't to be true.

During my 5 seasons with Come Fiesta the forums were dead except for the occasional Skanker proclamation that we would be dominant only to get blown out in meaningful games. Players were given some pretty far out build guides, without getting into specifics some pretty key attributes were totally ignored while some attributes that didn't get any ALG love were pushed early. I was told to spend SP on stamina at a point where the build was still recovering from the initial build guide snafus. The team expected players to cover equipment expenses out of pocket. Despite having some great agents and some top notch builds the crappy game planning in the playoffs left us without any loltrophies. In retrospect I guess I should have expected that from the guys behind the Kai, perpetual bridesmaid's that they are. Worst of all late at night ITS would sometimes show up at my house dressed in women's clothing and try to sing me "Goodbye Horses".

I have happily resigned from Come Fiesta and will be joining the excellent posters on the Cult of Personalities. My agent already had a relationship with the team and unlike Come Fiesta they can game plan for the playoffs with 2 gold loltrophies in the last 3 seasons. Having checked into their forum I can only say that it is epic in scope, both in thread count and in posting. Unlike the Kai kiddies there is no self absorbed hand wringing about their dots, the team is committed to important projects such as finding the elusive Hobo and creating tiny avatars to honor the mighty hero GOSEATTLE (currently known as the Big House). Best of luck to the poor souls still stuck on Come Fiesta, I fear that you shall never know the sweet joy of a loltrophy or the satisfaction of playing for a team with lofty goals and the people who can achieve them.

Instead of beleiving the Kai hype, you should have just checked the scoreboard. Kai, while a fun squad (I think they are good for GLB), really has never done anything beyond talk.

If you wanted to pretend to be the best, those are the guys to roll with. If you want to BE the best, well..you found the squad.

Congrats on the correct decision and welcome to da COP family

Don't forget we do Haiku's, asshole!

In follow up to this - It's true that more and more people are coming to the realization that COP is GLB's most epic collection of posters. Also, as great as that is, we're also the smartest collection of agents ever assembled in the universe, ever.

Welcome to the team Tim!

Agreed. Also, one of my players played for the Fiesta for a season or two. It was pretty lolable, terrible decision.

Hi merenoise, I think you pm'd me this link so I would respond. Im sorry you feel cheated in some way. Obviously not every agent/owner situation is going to work out and I have a feeling this was just one of those situations. I do the best I can to gameplan for games but obviously the Kai is my main priority. Typically I have ~3 teams to plan for and 1 to own. Winning championships with a farm team would be a sweet bonus but I really focus most my energy on the Kai. We are really focused on winning elite level success versus just winning minor league trophies.

The agents on Come Fiesta, and build plans were all a creation of Kayoh. My own personal philosophy is to have people build players how they want, I prefer variety/unique builds, as opposed to an assembly line of player builds. I have always been of the opinion that nobody should be telling others how to build, suggestion is ok, but in the end its their flex.

After we lost in this years playoffs both Skanker and I came to the conclusion that the team was not going in the right direction. We decided to part ways with Kayoh, along with a number of player builds & player activity/dedication that did not fit into our plans for the future. While I appreciate what Kayoh did to this point, philosophically we did not agree on many levels. Since his departure I have torn up all build plans, and we are starting the process of seeing what each agent actually wants.

Having said all that we decided to add some builds, players, and agents that are familiar with the Cobra Kai Network and really knows what it take to compete at the Pro & WL level. I think we probably turned over about ~20 players from last season.

Good luck to you.

Regards,
ITS
