Not to rain on anyone's parade, but with the position slots, I am not sure how valuable 'balanced' HB's are. As an OC, if I am running a play that requires blocking, I am going to throw in a HB that has that capability. Same for a run. A balanced HB might be good for a backup.
The problems are, your vision is too low to be a good receiving HB or pick up a blocker. Your speed isn't fast enough to get outside and your strength isn't high enough to be an up-the-gut runner.
I have a speed HB that is level 26. His main stats are below:
STR - 28
Block - 22
Speed - 95.93
Agi - 63.93 (investing points into this now)
Vision - 51.93
Catching - 30.8
So obviously I am an elusive back but that is what you are going to be up against when an OC is deciding who to use to go to the outside.
And to be perfectly honest, if it were me making the choice, I would put a str FB in the HB slot to block over using your HB because the strength differential is so high.
Just my two cents.
Once you get to know the game a bit more and get better at building players you'll find combo backs can do very well. Fast enough to run by d-line guys, shifty enough to get past linebackers/sometimes break those tackles, and powerful enough to power through the secondary. If you can build a half way decent player, you can get them to do that.
