im not sure if i understand what you're asking completely, but let me take a shot.
the frequency that those fakes fire at are based on how high you have the SA's and VA's
for example:
say you put points in your SA tree until you have 11HF & 11Juke with maxed out as well as 15 in each of the Quick Feet, Clever Instincts VA's with lets say 2 AEQ's that have 5% Fake Chance to begin with [and assuming they are fully maxed out] these fakes will fire at a very high rate than they would if you had only a few of the things mentioned above.
also, Agility, Vision, and Carrying also contribute to the success rate of your fakes.

Sorry, what I meant was, do you have a WR with points in those SA's? If so, how often do you actually see the skill firing? And, just to get more info on the interaction, what are your VA's and AEQ's that would enhance those skills firing?
Basically, my theory is that those 3 SA's are close to useless for WR's because they just don't fire very often, even at high levels. I'm just trying to see if that theory is true.

I don't see these firing too often on WRs no matter what VAs and AEQ they have. Then again, I don't see too many WRs that have put many points into making this happen. WRs have to invest so much to just catch the ball that it doesn't leave much left for much else.

Just an example my L62 WR has had 2 in Head Fake for several seasons. My L66 HB had 2 in it for 1/2 a season.
I have never seen it fire on my WR despite that fact that he has more vision and much more agility than my HB. I saw my HB successfully Head Fake someone 1 or 2 times in the short time that he has it.
Now, I don't know if that is due to the WR/CB interaction (CBs usually have high vision and agility) or the fact that my HB has much higher Carrying, which also impacts the success rate.
Another idea is that possibly none of my WR's attempts at a HF have been successfully due to his relatively low speed.

Vision is for fakes while running the route, carrying and vision is for fakes once he has the ball. Spin is a different animal and doesn't just require vision and carrying like fakes do.
I am convinced that faking for WR is not worth investing points into, yet I've built one WR to test them and my other higher level WR I'm going the fake route just to make sure

As I understand it Spin is not a fake but a break tackle. Break tackle requires strength as well as carry. I have 9 soon to be 13-14 in spin and it fires pretty regularly. Build includes 43 in strength and 64 in carry.
Others like head fake are fakes and require agility and carry. That is when the Quick feet VA is useful.
I made the mistake early thinking Quick feet would help with spin. It doesnt from what i can tell from Borts explanations.
In defense of Fakes; I do see them pretty regularly. Most are very subtle. Remember fakes in RL are to get a step on a Corner not to make them fall down or miss persay. The ones that are the coolest and most obvious are the spin SA. But again that is a Break Tackle. Also keep in mind that Corners are going for SAs and VAs to counter yours so just because you didnt break the corners angle doesnt mean it didnt fire. I see mine fire regularly but it does nothing to the corner. Other times it does, just the way the numbers fall really.

So went back and reviewed and found 7 spins last season. Had 50 rec in season. That is 14%, Not bad.

Quick Feet definitely helps Spin fire, it says so in the description.
So, 7/50 with ~9 in Spin and no Quick Feet? That's better than I thought it would be.

Quick feet does give a 'spin chance' bonus i kind of miss spoke on that because i also have adv eq with fake chance. But the fake chance doesnt help Spin, is what i should of said. Because spin is not a fake.
so i have decent agility(79), quick feet to 15, and 9 spin. All that gives me a decent spin fire chance as well as strength. You have to have strength and carry for spin because it is a break tackle move.

I can add that I have that Adv Eq with 19% fake chance on top of the quick feet. So I do see a lot of little fakes (head fakes?, jukes?) right after the catch. Though not as effective and cool to watch as the spin.
I also maxed slippery and almost have YAC attack maxed as well. both of which are helping the Spin I think.
