what does he need to work on?

I'm not sure what about that build would lead you to believe that it's a pass rushing build. Looks like an MLB without strength.

Speed & agility are both very low. Way too low for a pass rushing build. You'd be better off turning him into an MLB at this point.

This is pretty much right on ... you have 60+ vision and tackling = good start...

Strength to 68
Defense General: 5+ (SA's ... do this last)

Reset the Veteran Abilities when Bort lets us and redistribute these...
Pass Rusher: 15
Zone Specialist: 12
TO
Natural Leader or Sure Tackler ...
