Hey, it's a great build for a coverage and pass rushing linebacker. But he was asking for a LB who could take down powerbacks...I had a couple guys with very similar builds to yours on a team I DCed for. They'll get run over.

Hey, it's a great build for a coverage and pass rushing linebacker. But he was asking for a LB who could take down powerbacks...I had a couple guys with very similar builds to yours on a team I DCed for. They'll get run over.

Oh wait, he's the forced fumble leader of the world league. So much for coverage and pass rushing. Strength =/= the end all attribute. Neither is speed. Tackling is far more important than strength for a linebacker. I would have said the same as you guys five seasons ago, but I'd learned better.

Its main usage is holding back the ball carrier from gaining extra yards.
That's the best thing to have if you're tackling a power back imo.
Good luck forcing fumbles against power backs. You'll need a few on your team focused on morale reducing tackles.
