I know they moved to the USA AA#3 league but before they left they got really weak and now they are owned by the CPU. What the hell happened?

I wonder why. They were good. And why would you give it up after you trade up 2 leagues? Weird.

Whats going to happen is a more teams will come out> people are going to think itis easy owning said teams. people will find out it isnt then said team goes CPU.Or there will be mega mergings happening.

That's a major problem. Bort is making new teams every off season b/c he's seeing $$$$. It's watering down the league. Teams are losing starters and backups b/c those people are getting teams. Making new teams needs to halt for a few season.
This is what's happening. A backup leaves b/c he's getting a new team (Bort gets money for that) then owner of current team has trouble getting a backup b/c those new teams are offering them starting positions. So owner's hand is almost forced to make his own player (again Bort gets money). He has his hands in both cookie jars.

I agree, and I don't necessarily mind the new teams. I mean I think most of us went through the same thing, started out making a player, finding out how fun it was and deciding we wanted more control and fun with management so we bought our own teams. You can't fault other people for wanting that.
My opinion is that the way the teams are being released is the real issue, initially the first season teams were released staggered throughout the season. I missed most of that so I may be wrong but it seemed the teams in each league were comparatively level as they would all be signing guys who came into the league about the same time. Now, they're dumping 1000, 700, 500, however many teams they decide to release into the game all at one time. We do have d-leagues to pull from but it's not enough and again, most players would rather start for a team than play backup for another. You can't blame them for that, all teams are pretty much the same. There's no advantage for being a backup in a established league over a starter in a new league, and in fact it's the opposite. We also all want playing time and a chance to make things happen and brag about our stats or wins in the games we play, it's why we're here.
I'm by no means ready to throw the towel in but recruiting is becoming a full time job. I don't want a team full of my own players, it's not why I bought a team but it seems like I'm being forced to to make more or pull more of my friends players in just to keep a solid group of players together.

I'm in no way blaming the players in the instance. Of course players want team to run on their own but the problem comes when that player decides it takes to much time to recruit, run a team, deal with salaries etc... Then that team is stuck with a CPU owner.
For instance, last season BBB 13 was all human players. Now in the east there is like 3-4 teams that have A LOT of CPU players.
It's watering down the game.
My team is very lucky to be a tight knit of members from another message board of Miami Hurricane fans and we won't have the backup problems as the season's go by. We will be filled with Grassy Members.

Aw see. Now you've let the cat out of the bag and told everyone our little secret. LOL
Now everyone will become jealous of us and want to join our team. We'll have to fight them off like flesh eating zombies.

LOL. Anything to get your PM box filled
Zombies won't be a problem. We have Kevin McCallister watching our backs. He's has experience in deflecting potential trouble makers example:Wet Bandits/Sticky Bandits.
