Ok, after the third season of Gold being implemented here are my thoughts.

The competition is great, but it's too tough to gameplan for all of the top teams week in week out. I miss the old format now that I've seen both ways of doing things . I think that league play was great in that you only had to game plan against tough opponents and it was a good way to build rivalries year in and year out.

I think a good way to improve the Pee Wee's would be to combine gold and silver and have the copper leagues still in place. This way there would be some consistency in rivalries but the brand new owners wouldn't get killed.

Those who still want the cut throat competition, that's what the tourneys are for

Thoughts?

I still think its wrongly segregated.. All PeeWee teams that win championships should be put into Leagues, runners up a league, etc. etc.. No league discriminates against boosting..

I've only OC'ed for a Gold team for half a season, and then they gutted because they were 4-5. However, in my time there, it was damn near impossible to do shit against any teams!!! I agree, I liked the old structure better. Bort doesn't give a fuck though, so what does it matter...

lol at this thread. Everyone was crying they wanted this about 4 seasons ago. We got it. Its too hard. Yeah we know this but we brought this upon ourselves. Bort lays no blame here, he just did what we asked him as a pee wee community to do. Yes it's hard to win and if your in Gold your chances of winning any kind of hardware is pretty slim. Life was much easier when I played in league 5. Now you have to devote your life to planning around GLB.

was it really a shock when you ask to put the best teams in 1 league, it is going to be difficult?

I here you stw, as we did have some great times in old L10...but I do like the current format better. For teams that don't want to go to Gold there should be an option to stay put but a lot of people wanted a league for the best of the best. Too many teams love the competition and constant gameplanning, so it would be difficult to go back to the old way now.

LOL...I must agree...be careful what you ask for...but...I'm still trying to get to gold and wasn't that also the goal of having the GOLD league??

I don't hate gold, and I knew the reaction I'd get by posting this thread, but it seems like gold eats up a lot of good teams and then the owners retire and start over and lose the old school squads. I was just curious to see what the overall sentiment was after a couple of seasons. Or maybe I thought it would be more interesting than posting about the qb bootleg

I like the current format. If your not willing to compete at that level, then Gold is not for you.

I liked the old way tbh, I could take a season off and still be in league 5.

Gold teams can request they be moved down to Silver if they so desire.

If there's an elite league, I'm too competitive to want out I guess my biggest point was that it's sad to see some "historic teams" make it to gold, burn out and then are gone. That's my point, complaint I guess
