IMO, the best team in the league last year got jobbed in the playoff, and that is Akron. They will take it home this year barring a cheatanooga type signing barrage.

There are about 5-6 teams that could take it home at the end of the season. Its hard to tell, as there is usually 1 or 2 upsets along the course of the playoffs.
Also, that is horrible, horrible chemistry :/ Maybe your 20 WR can make up for it.

20 WR can't hurt, but as of now it sounds like he's leaving when contract is up, thus won't have him all year...

When I took over this team 2 and a half weeks ago, It was practically completely gutted. I've had to make a number of cuts and trades and signings to make this roster bearable. There was no way I could of avoided the chemistry hit if I wanted this team to compete.

Wow! Thanks shacky. I too think that we got jobbed in the playoffs when the sim decided to go for it on 4th down instead of kicking a game winning FG from the 32. But hey, the Dawgs played us to the limit to put us into that situation so I dont want to take anything away from them. I have definately circled the end of season rematch though.
As far as your team goes shacky, as well as many others, it is much improved. It seems like every team at least has a couple heavy hitting impact game breakers on their roster now so way to represent BBB#14. Even Cheattanooga, has improved its image ( although i will always stick to their new team name).
Unfortunately as I predicted in another forum the Richmans Sleeze continue to exist. Instead of being run into the ground by a selfish cheat the are now $4 mill in the black. The guy is making a mockery of the rules. I wish someone would put a stop to it. Until then that is the first grudge match this primate has circled.

I think you have done a respectable job. I am scratching my head over how you got ahold of that WR. I kidnapped three pregnant mothers in the hopes of extorting the signing of a playmaker to one of my teams to no avail.

For some reason I got EXTREMELY lucky. One of my GM's put our level 16 cb (who was an incredible kick returner) on the block, and as soon as i saw the offer (a level 17 wr and level 15g) i accepted. The Wr boosted today.

Remember, My team lost to Albequerque in the first round by a glitch kick-return.
Brought in a few badasses and now we're back in business.

Wow,
I only signed 2 new players in the off-season, and only one higher then the rest ( at 16 ). Looks like the Marauders are going to look for another Cinderella season!

I think this season comes down to "Who can hope to stop Anchorage".
The other storyline will be "Who scored more than 3 on Anchorage"...

You mean the team that has a gm for every player?

Bruins are a better team...debatable with Alpine and Akron.
The way this sim works though, is that levels eventually trail off once everyone is 15+ and its sometimes sheer luck. Thats why I wonder, in leagues such as USA Pro, if standings will just end up random assuming tactics are well done on both sides.
