Depends on if you get a lot of tackles, or if you are more of a containment guy. If it's the former, I'd say "yes".

Monster Hit is the last VA on the tree, so I'd say no its not worth it even if you do get a bunch of tackles. AEQ that is BB + Monster Hit, sure, but not straight SP.
