Do you have a preference?

In theory you would think Bullet leads to less interceptions, but does anyone find it actually leads to more?

So far on my extremely low level QB I like Loft

Never had a QB. Never been an OC. I would like to see someone test this for a season.

I lean towards bullet, it gets the ball there faster, which helps against people hawking my balls.

I like Bullet as well. You need Wr's that can catch the ball but with the right amount of strength and the right playbook it can be really effective.

The more strength you have, the less bullet you really need is my opinion.

In my experience, bullet vs. loft has no bearing on INTs or ease of catching.

I used to use bullet, had a lot of bad int's this season switched to loft still threw int's so I am not sure. In the past I would have advised bullet with this season's sim, I advise you not to pass.

Yes. I stated several seasons ago that bullet led to more PDs and interceptions due to Bort's introduction of the z-axis in passing. The circumstantial data seems to have born that out, although I would guess that's more true for man coverage than zone. I guessed that bullet would be more attractive in zone since your windows are so small that you need to get the ball there as quickly as possible.

pretty much what i have noticed too...also more loft on passes leads to being complete shit against zone defenses as you are just giving time for defenders to close in on the pass.

using a somewhat lofty setting tho is pretty nice for 1-1 man coverage.

Wow...very surprised at some of the opinions in this thread.

QB tactics are probably the second most important tactical settings in the game (HBs and LBs being the other two).

The settings you want will depend on the style of defense, the offensive game plan, the overall level at which you are playing (meaning the builds on the field make a difference), and the builds of your WRs.

Makes a pretty big difference, imo.

I use bullet passes. It could be a coincidence with all the passing additions over the last few seasons, but since its been put into place, I see far less dropped passes each season now. I would have as much as 10 a game before, and now with bullet passing, I have maybe 20 a year.

But like I said, it could be coincidental with players leveling, and the other additions to the passing game.

So what would you use for a short passing offense?
