Is it just me or is my Morale showing signs of falling further down than it has in seasons past?
Is the only way to boost it to use the 2 point training option? Traditionally I have used, almost exclusively, the 4 point training (to give me the bonus training tokens)
How important is Morale, ultimately? I have never been as low as I discovered it to be.
Anybody know the 'real' on this?

Your player is level 18 on a 1-11 team in a 14 capped league (similar level competition). That's why has morale is tanking. Consecutive losses to teams with near equal leveled players will compound the morale loss and he will lose more morale for each ensuing loss.

But as your team doesn't appear serious about winning, it really doesn't make too much difference outside of his personal performance.

Xsujx, Thank you for your perspective on this .... I guess I never really thought about the teams performance factoring into this.
What do you mean a 14 capped league exactly? I am learning some of these things now after I accepted the offer from this team and I am guilty of not having someone that knows more than me as a mentor (of sorts)

The league you are in was only able to sign players at a maximum of level 14 for this season. This means that the opponents you are up against are generally about your level. Losing to similar leveled players (or lower) will cause you to lose morale. I know that after consecutive losses to such competition you lose more than 1 point of morale after the first loss and it keeps getting worse as the losses pile up.

You can only regain 1 morale point (as far as I know) from "Night on the Town" training. If you were to continue to lose you'd never catch up by training. In any case, the loss of either intense training or token shopping is generally worse than letting your morale slip. Your team is either poorly run or isn't trying to win. As such there isn't as much to be gained by training your morale up. Don't worry about it for next season either. His morale will reset to 100 before the next season starts.
