for my MLB I just spun up

+1 jumping
+1 Defensive General

vs.

+3 Tackling
Fake Chance 2%

I do play MLB so which is better??

Defensive General is much better.

Does the d general cost more to upgrade later/without EQ? To me it looks like a 3 to 1 advantage on things I'm gonna need to improve on in the future. Although, jumping helps dive tackles when fake chance does nothing...

Well you have to upgrade the other SAs to get to the Defensive General SA so that adds up too. +3 tackling is good, but you'd be better off with something that actually helps instead of the fake even if you only get +2 tackling or something.

Neither piece is the greatest, but I'd go with Defense General for now and keep shopping.

ok, thanks.

Whats an example of a better piece? I'm at lvl 25 (soon to be 26).

Is there anything better bundled with the defensive general SA?

I went shopping about 4 times in a row just to find these two, how many spins should I expect to waste before getting something better? (I know its obviously a gamble, but is it a needle in a haystack or just a few spins away?)

I don't know I probably shop too much. As long as you have enough BTs to upgrade two piece's you'll be fine. In the long run you level slower so it's not an issue even if you shop like 60 times. Probably more I haven't done the math.

I'd say strength, tackling, agility, speed would all be better than jump with the defense general. If you can get 2 D generals you'd be in good shape and not have to spend any on that SA. Personally I like +% make tackle pieces though, so if you find one or two of those I'd consider that.

I'd take the DG piece and never look back. I wish I could roll 1 or 2 for my MLB.
