Probably won't be able to do this every week, but i'll see what I can do. I have limited experience with the teams that have been perenial WE Pro teams, so feel free to call me out and call me an idiot.
#1 Glasgow Colored Trombones VS #3 Amsterdam Affliction
Looks to be a pretty good match-up on paper, Glasgow is coming off the bye week so hard to say how they are playing this season. Affliction have whopped every Alpha team they've faced in pre-season. I'm giving a slight edge to Affliction in a nail biting 4th quarter come from behind win. I still hate you Affliction guys though.
#2 Bath Killer Bees VS #12 Stockholm Meatballs
Everyone has their eyes on Bath this season, and for good reason. They will destroy a Meatballs team who is still looking for an offensive identity.
#4 Hamburg Parrots VS #14 Tranmere Titans
Tranmere has a good offense, but there defense is MIA, Hamburg has a stout defense and a balanced offensive attack. I'm a bit biased here, but I give the nod to Hamburg, though it'll be a fairly high scoring game on both sides.
#5 Parts Unknown VS #7 Biloxi Voodoo
Probably the most contested game of the day, either team could win this one and it will come down to whoever wins the turnover and special teams battle. I'm going with Parts Unknown, but would not be surprised of the Voodoo win.
#6 Warsaw Wolves at #15 Dublin Dragoons
Even after scouting the Wolves I am unsure where to put them, they can be a top 4 team, or they could be fighting for their playoff lives at the end of this season, they have a Arizona Cardinals feel to them. Either way they steamroll the Dragoons.
#8 Porto People Eaters VS #13 Amsterdam Smokers
What happened to the Smokers? They used to have a pretty nasty team just 2 seasons back. This season they will be one of the few Zeta whipping boys. PPE is another team I can't place yet, though their records will start off decent after snuffing the Smokers out
#9 La Tourette Syndrome at #16 Roman Legion
LTS is pretty solid team, with a very good defense, they will easily shutout the Roman Legion who went extinct this offseason. Enjoy the bye.
#10 Korb Destroyers VS #11 Plainview Bulldogs
Korb Destroyers look to have a deadly running attack, i think it will take them far this season, their #10 ranking will only go up from here. Bulldogs have a decent team but i have a feeling will lose a lot of close games this season. Korb controls the ball all game and knocks out the Bulldogs.
