I am a first time DC and i want to know what is better to run Zone or Man coverage vs the Run it seems when its set to zone they commit to zones even after the ball is handed off (btw im in pee wee) please help thanks

They both have their place. It depends on where the strength of your defense lies, the situation, and your player builds.

has anyone ever tried a complete zone defense where zone specialist is maxed with all the DE's, LBs, and secondary....just wondering?! i would love to see how it worked?!

-forgot to add that players would have zone builds as well!!!

I don't know about DEs, but Bonn and some others have such a defense.

If you really want to be prepared for the Bort sim changes, you are going to need 3 teams made. 15 cb's 5 pure shut down corners,5 pure linebacker type cb, 0 va's,( zone player) and 5 extreme sdc. (more speed agi) this would get you going in the right direction for sure, then you can run zone/man or w/e you want when you get to that level
