This is almost hilarious.
He is not even on the line of scrimmage. 4.5 yards off of the line of scrimmage. Yet is called for the penalty. http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=911596&pbp_id=2431405

Not sure if I should post this in Bug Forum or not, but it sure seems odd.

They don't show the presnap movement, but any player set to blitz can be called for encroachment no matter how far away, but I think that the rule is that the further back from the line, the harder it is to lose the roll.

Yeah, I can agree and disagree,
The actual design is to cover TE or blitz.
I guess since I have not seen any (or noticed) I should say,
a player off of the LOS get called offsides, I might not have payed as much attention
as I had thought. However I can see what you mean about presnap, but then why in the
heck is he starting 4.5 yards from LOS when the ball is snapped?

Aww well it all comes out in the wash I suppose.
