Is punting skill as weak as it seems?
Punters in low leagues can't punt for anything, a 95-100punting skill yields about a 16 yard punt.

Has anyone made a punter that had barely any punting skill, cause it seems that it doesn't do much and maybe punters are better off ignoring punting skill, and focus on other things...

FWIW, my punter didn't really start kicking ass until his punting was into the 120s.

I have one OG (old guy) punter and 2 lower ones.

Looking at the slow builder ones it took until the third season to average in the 30s

Player one, currently level 33 (S1=21, S2=28, S3=35.4, S4=34.8) his punting is currently 114, but I don't recall when it reached 100 etc. He was created in the middle of a season.

Player 2, currently level 23 was started in the off season, so he was boosted before his first full season. His numbers were:
(S1=25.5, S2=30.1) His punting is currently at 102.5


It's hard to look at my punter from season 1, because there were so many changes and nerfs to play into the equation.

My 3 punters were all completely punt-centric and have all performed at the top of the league every season.

I have never seen a low punting punter that was any good, but that doesnt mean they dont exist. Obviously there are a variety of ways to create good punters, but the constant seems to be high punting skills.

Not only is punting down, but punt returns are up.... so I'm gonna be going for 4th and shorts more now. Kind of a bummer.

Do you see a big difference in numbers from the 114 guy to the 102 guy. I opted to get strength and vision up once I had Punting to 66, I was just wondering if there was a major difference between 100 Punting and 120 Punting.
