Remember last season when you saw a trade and went "WHY DIDN'T YOU DO THIS!" or "WHY DID YOU DO THIS!" at your team? Well if you do, this is for you. Take the team of your choice and re-play last season, and further. Trade players, sign free agents, let people go, set team tactics, and manage your cap. I will sim the games on madden 09 using the starting rosters, which can be found on the forum ie: LDT is 99 OVR etc. Post for an invite and you can then pick a team. You do not have to have any system to play, it is all done through GLB. If you don't understand, ask here for more info. Post for invite.

i like this idea but we should go more retro if you have other past maddens?

Nah, last season sis till fresh in peoples minds, and it isn't supposed to be as retro as a "Beat the pro" thing. Want an invite?

I'm sorry but tecmo super bowl is the best football game ever. It is also coincidentally the greatest drinking game ever as well. Play someone and take a shot everytime someone scores.

On a side note can I get some more info on how this sim thing works I am interested.

Basicly you make all the trades, signings, and choose all the tactics, and I sim it out on Madden 09 and post results and stats. You don't need a console and it doesn't require a load of effort. The only bit which will take ages is sorting out your roster, as the only sites with the 09 rosters I have found doesn't have the positions in order, and even that only takes five minuites. Once you start playing you will understand it a lot better.
