It has had a low level boost, this means it is likely that passing might get worse for some players as the season progresses as the applied boost starts to wear off. After this it will most likely take into account the usual factors, so if you build badly then your dot will probably not pass so good.

I don't know for definite how it will all work out of course. Just concerned that people are not really understanding what was done here.

I think it's great!
Now you have a chance to have some passing right from the start, but you have to work at the builds to continue with that success.
What's so hard to understand about that?

Just to clarify, passing is extra good now because everyone is so low level. Thus as people level up and the bonus lowers, only those with good passing builds will continue this success? In other words, no more high completion % from rushing QB's and to low catching receivers as we progress through the season?

I can't say for sure if it will work but this is the plan.

Did you ever think that a team may keep bringing in level 1 QBs to pass because they know they have a boost? I mean, a team could create a player and get throwing to about 40 at level 1 + the boost, which may make them better than a decent level 12.

Also: Teams could exploit this by having 3 level 1 QBs at the beginning of the season. As the season progresses, they could bench one-two QBs and let them train but remain at level 1. Then, when the original QB outplays his "boost", they could cut him and throw in the level 1 QBs because they still have a boost.

Ya.

If as we level up the good builds revert back to last seasons passing % [because their now high enough in level] then I'm going to keep bringing in level 1's all season long.

I guess you could test that theory right now: Create a new QB, have someone sign him to a Lvl 14 Capped team and let him start. If he is completing passes like an experienced QB, or on par with the Lvl 12 and up QB's, you have definitely found an exploit that needs to be fixed.
I'm just as curious as everyone else here, to be honest. Is it just the QB's that are getting the boosts, or the receivers, too? Watching replays, you see WR's and other receivers make catches they were dropping last season. From that, I'm thinking the passing boost affects not just the QB's, but everyone involved in throwing and catching the passes.
If that is the case, you'd have to cut and sign both QB's and receivers to achieve the exploit....that would affect team chemistry.......and how well would a Lvl 1 WR fare against a Lvl 8 or higher CB or safety with 50ish SPD and corresponding AGI, while his own SPD/AGI was in the teens or low twenties? I think you'd see a whole lot of deflected passes or interceptions taken to the house if someone tried that..........but.......who knows, I could be wrong, too.

I think the buff to passing goes to atleast level 21. I have already seen a big improvment in 2 of my level 13/14 rushing QBs. Nowhere does it say this buff is exclusivly for peewee levels , It just says lower levels. So we have to figure out what Borts idea of lower levels are.

If it works, it was totally my idea.

If not, blame Bort.

There's no chemistry penalty for cutting a player lvl. 5 or below.
