Which is better and why?

I'd say either get both or neither.

Yac+slippery, or yac+bruiser imo.

Out of the two, which does it make more sense to max first?

YAC

depends IMO.

It made no sense for me to max out YAC first. I'm not going to start pumping my fake SAs until level 60 or so.

yet by then I will already have pretty high strength and carry.
