WE come back and no one is here

Time to find some new rivals. The games against Normandy where always the ones that scared me most. Sad to see you leave.

Yeah Porto and Normandy had some epic battles in AAA and Pro. I guess we got the last word in the playoffs this year but it still will be a rivalry I miss.

Likewise, we've always had a lot of great battles against the Invasion as well., though mainly back in AAA. Thank you guys, maitey especially, for making WWW famous on the main forum back in S7. Oh who could forget that .

Fear not my Casual Owner friend, the Punks and many other Addict teams have arrived and will attempt to fill the awesome boots the Invasion leave.

On a side note, I DCd for Dublin Shamrocks back in WE A6 way back in the day, that league had Normandy, Global, Porto and several ohter powerhouses that made it to Pro. Probably one of the best A Leagues for WE....

We had a lot of great battles and I think Western Europe is by far the best league to be in. I will miss OCing Normandy against all you guys. I am proud to say that we never had a losing season and only missed the playoffs once in our first season in pros at 8-8 and the 9th seed. A few of us will be joining up with Hattgenstein so I will be around the forums for at least one more season.

so will we, and probably half the other teams too.

By the time we've finished recruiting for this season I expect us to have zero chemistry

Like everyone else said, props to everyone on the Normandy Invasion, real class group of guys, one of the only owners who would always PM you after they played you in the playoffs, win or lose. I think we must have met them 4 or 5 times in the playoffs, we had some great battles.

Once boss, just the once.

We did have some great battles in regular season games (especially back in AAA2) though and I will be sad to see Normandy go.

At least you have the claim to fame of being the team that forced the implementation of the repeat play penalty.

Seemed like more, didn't they beat us in the playoffs back in season 7 or something?

Doesn't matter, it felt like more

nice to know your sticking around in some form on another team. the league needs the good guys like you.
