Forum > Pro Leagues > I thought the teams that were supposed to be hit the hardest this year were the screen teams correct?

Being really good last year had to help a shitload with recruiting. But yeah, the best screens teams were mostly just the teams who could plan around the sim the best. Why would that change?

Neither Hali nor Bonn were one-trick ponies...though they did perhaps run an annoying number of screens.
Jedi+Dooley+Jericho is a nasty triple threat that can be successful in any remotely viable sim.
Sven and the Bonn O-line are likewise nerf-resistant.

The best screen teams were the teams that were the most successful at adapting.
That means more than just being good at running the screen.

Bonn OL/DL is one of the best we have faced and way too underrated. People give a lot of credit to their blocking TE/FB and their zone defense. But what really make it work is their line. They can drop everyone back into deep zone and still contain the other teams rushing offense, which is the key to their zone success imo.

VERY much this... Drinkin played alot of this theory but our D line got rapped game in and game out... but hey... we had the best pass D in the league!
D line will speak highly what you can do.

for sure. I like to think Dakar had a very well built Oline this season, but they had a terrible game against Bonn. I thought we could at least get consistent yards, but we could not. Very tough DLine they have there.

Bort has no method of stopping all of the massive collusion going around GLB.
What's he going to do? Ban the entire community?
I think maybe Bort should put some pants on.
