Should I get his speed to 81 w/o EQ if I can ?

Speed is nice on an SS, but there are too many other attributes to be concerned with to be an effective SS. Unless you want to only be a special teams player, spending more than 3 for 1 on any base attribute is a big waste for an SS. Speed is very important for an SS, but the more you spend on speed, the more you sacrifice other important attributes. Beyond speed, agility, and vision, all 3 very important, an SS still must have stamina, strength, tackling, and jumping. These other attributes are not luxuries. They are important for an SS to play well.

Fatload is right...Defensive players who have many main attributes shouldn't go above the 4:1 cap before reaching the first decrease in leveling bonuses(level 22 I think) Id say stick to 74 if you want a faster SS.


My level 19 SS I took speed to 74 asap and capped tackling before reaching level 19.

Speed is king for SS.
