Well, we're getting towards the end of the season and things are getting pretty clear. A couple of things left to be resolved. First, who's getting that 8th play-off seed so that they can get slaughtered embarassingly by the Wolfpack? Second, Who is getting bounced out of the Pros.
It's pretty much between the Toros and the Longhorns for the 8th spot. I'm convinced that the Kampers will get the #7. Which bodes well for the NWNHs since they will not likely rank high enough to play the Kampers again.
The Thunder looks to be the odds on favorite for a demotion, but the Stoners could still save them if they're not careful.
Other than that, the ranks are close to being solidified.
(1) Washington Wolfpack : Odds on favorite for a promotion to WL. Unless they Marauder the play-offs.
(2) Chicago Hedgehogs : Probably sitting tight here...but things COULD change either way.
(3)D-League Dream Team : Needs a win against NWNHs and the Toros or they COULD lose a home game. (Hounds and Marauders both have more points if there is a 3 way tie)
(4) Nashville Hounds : They're back...just in time for the play-offs. Wonder if they threw all those games so they didn't repeat last years 16-0 play-off run.
(5) Minnesota Marauders : Big loss to the Hounds. Can't be good for Morale going into the play-offs. Then again...could you lose a couple more? I like the MM V. WW match-up.
(6) KKAR : I can't drop them below the NWNHs even if the Hawks do have more wins. Sandbaggers!!!
(7) Northwest Nighthawks : Last chances to prove they're real...or frauds.
(8) Austin Longhorns : Toros. Away. Must Win.
(9) Houston Toros : Did better against WW than I would have guessed.
(10) Tallahassee Seminoles : I don't think, I know your season is over.
(11) Cincinnati Stoners : Riding on the edge.
(12) Wala Wala Drunken Shriners : Upset against WW? Doubt it. Don't think WW will even game plan this one.
(14) New Jersey Battalion : Back to Basic.
(15) Carson City Cubes : Destined for 5-11
(14) Timpanogos Thunder : Do not go gentle into that goodnight.
(16) San Diego Demolition: You're still here? You're still reading? Wait...I'm still writing?
