I'd say get your speed/ agility capped and then get focus all in strength and vison. Those are the 2 most important for dts if your looking to be a big runstopper.

As a DT your majors are Str, Agi, Tck. Focus there first. Agi and Str to third or fourth caps, tackling to second.

I wouldnt waste another point on speed or agility for a while. You need Strength, Strength, and then Strength...in that order. All eq should go towards Strength as well. If you are building a DT (as opposed to a NT) then you could maybe look at agility again by ~ L-28 or so...but definitely work on strength for now regardless.

I'd train Vision/Tackling/Confidence/Stamina...in that order. I wouldnt put anything into SA' s until at least L-24...but would recommend holding off until L-32.

Is this a joke?

He's 3 SP away from capping Agility - a major - and you're telling him to not spend any more SP in it?

Why would you think that is a joke?

You're giving him long term advice as a guy who has many players and can shrug off productivity on one of them in the name of longer term success.

This is his only player...so for him to enjoy his "GLB experience" if you will...he needs advice for what to do right now, and until the end of next season. He wont be anywhere near 3rd cap until after that.

I don't see how my advice conflicted with your's anyway. So stop acting like somebody stole your thunder.

Has nothing to do with stealing thunder, it's poor advice, long term or short term. 3 points now will have a minor impact on his strength and will more than make up for it in agility benefit.

i would get agility to the +2, you are right there. then start working on strength/tackling. get those to the +3, at least.

It really depends on what position your going for. Strength is important for both but more for the NT than the DT. A DT is a pass rusher from the inside. So speed and agility help a lot. A NT is mainly there to take up blockers, though a well built NT will be very effective in the pass rush.

This season alone he got more hurries than the REST of his previous seasons combined.

So in the end it really depends on what type of DT he wants. Me I prefer NTs. He may prefer the DT position.

speed and agility dont mean anything if hes on his ass every play. strength should be 68 cap before he spends any points on agility. no offense but i agree with poncho, u should retire him and start over.

spend skill points on strength til 68 while training speed and agility
then get agility to 68 while training speed and tackling
that should keep u busy for a couple seasons
