So, Pee Wee is by far the most fun and rewarding team in all of GLB, no doubt there. But it is also the hardest to fill up when the team is new. Getting a new copper team, to fill up a roster, you better have a whole lot of flex. At best youll get at least 10 other users intrested in pre season recruiting, and at most 6 will actually sign. Now sure if your a decorated user or a good recruiter, youll get more, but Pee Wee really isnt a good place for new owners, just new agents, so the talent at Copper could be shaky. This has not always been the way, when I got my first team, in S9 (Pee Wee League #9) I filled up my team and made the playoffs. Nowadays, thats a HUGE accomplishment, and a hard one to reach if your a "Noob" to the game. If your team progresses, then congratulations, you now have easy recruiting for the greatest league in the game, but it takes a lot of grit and personal pocket change to do so.

Just my thoughts.

I was a new pee wee agent in S9 with no pee wee contacts and one player. Just look at me now. I'm a rare success story out of many people, but I owe it all to jxgator33.

The best way to be successful is either: build all the players yourself and boost and buy custom EQ or get a top OC/DC. I happened to do both.

100% on.

Or another option is that you hire a well-known recruiter (Such as LE, or someone you have a connection with) and that'll help you out big time too.

I've helped recruit with plenty of Copper teams, the owners and I never spent a penny, but we still had plenty of agents join.

Pee Wee is a great place to start. I had no trouble the first time I did it. This year I'm putting the team back together. Even though I didn't have many returning agents from S11, and not much of a rep, I still didn't have trouble recruiting and had my roster filled (except for STs and WRs) by day 24. Just gotta learn how to not look like a jackass in the recruiting forums (fill the glamor positions with your own players and laber them 'starters', say that a team goal is getting promoted to silver), and your team will be fine.

So, is pee wee even competitive since most teams are slow building and not adding SP until an attribute can be capped?

Just seems odd that with all the slowbuilders out there, and team owners that have been with GLB since S1..that winning pww wee would not be that hard considering that half of each conference is made up of teams that are just trying to ensure that both the offense and defense gets the most plays as possible so they can gain the most SP as possible.

are you sure you are talking about anything you really know something about???

cuz, in my limited Pee Wee experience, the high percentage of teams (that i have competed against) are built ALOT different than slow build..............

course you seem to know what you are talking about................
